Is Pyrgos less crowded than Oia?
Usually yes. It remains an active village, so we still choose the route and time carefully.
How difficult is the walking?
The upper village is steep and cobbled. We can use a shorter lower route when mobility or a long dress makes climbing impractical.
Does Pyrgos have caldera views?
It offers broad island and sea panoramas, but the visual identity is more village-focused than the cliffside caldera routes.
